MAWAR PUTIH is the Indonesian term for a 'white rose', the symbol of the county 'Yorkshire' in England, where Wayan grew up as a boy. It is also Lina and Wayan's favourite flower, so it felt right to name their company venture after it. They both enjoy gardening and have a huge garden; but, the remote area of Malang Regency, east Java, where their new home is located, is not ideal for growing roses They have as well as a nice garden with tropical flowers, orchids and franjipani planted orange trees, avacado trees, coffee and chocolate bushes.
Wayans Story
Wayan grew up on the streets of Sheffield, an industrial city in Yorkshire. He had an ambition, vision, and passion to be an artist since he was very young. On those streets, life was both hard and joyful. At the age of 16, his father was promoted to senior instructor with his company, which required him to relocate to another city in Yorkshire, where he received a comprehensive education and, much to his father's surprise, was accepted into one of the leading universities in the UK for art and design. Wayan returned to his hometown in Yorkshire four years later, armed with two degrees, to pursue his dream of becoming a professional artist. 4 years later with 2 degreed under his arm wayan returned to his beloved yorkshire and pursued his ambition to be a professional Artist, Additional study, training, and practice for another two years under the supervision of two well-known and accomplished artists followed. Life was difficult, yet interesting and rewarding. A new family had entered his life, and with them came something more. Things were taking up, though, with a few television appearances and painting demonstration events throughout Yorkshire, and his paintings began to sell not only locally but also globally. He opened his first art gallery in a tiny town near his home, followed by another a year later in a village near the large town of Harrogate.
Life, on the other hand, continued to be difficult, so he decided to try using his artist's eye, along with design, to make websites for the ever-growing phenomena known as the 'Internet' and to assist people with their new-found toys, PC's in order to supplement their income. This venture shot off like a rocket; life for the young family was improving, and the future was bright and exciting. Then, one day in November, a catastrophe occurred. His wife and two young children died in a terrible car accident. A horrible vehicle collision. Wayan's life was broken, the victory snatched from his sails, and he spent the next two years drifting on a deep, dark ocean with no hope of survival. Then one day... ▶▶▶▶▶▶▶▶
